Chef and founder Ian McClatchey is an internationally trained chef, starting his career in northern Scotland in 2002 and working his way around the world.
A passionate chef, Ian sought out the weirdest, wildest and most wonderful experiences professional cheffing had to offer, from steakhouses in northern Australia to gourmet seafood restaurants in Reykjavik.
Having moved to Canada for a new challenge in 2018, Ian began to explore the new horizons which cannabis legalization had opened up, and quickly realized the joys of cooking with cannabis.
Ian quickly became disappointed with the conventional recipes and methods of cannabis cooking and knew that eating cannabis could be a culinary delight and an elite dining experience, way beyond the pot brownies or grassy unpalatable cannabutter.
Ian set to work on creating meals which incorporate cannabis, but which also taste great. Cannabis high was inspired by his desire to share the brave new world of cannabis cuisine with Canada.
